Several years ago I developed a terrible case of contact dermatitis on my hands. This experience led me to educate myself on the chemicals and toxins prevalent in the cosmetic industry. What I found was shocking!

 

It is said that the average woman is exposed to 168 toxic chemicals a day. This is mostly in the form of personal care products such as shampoo, skincare, body products and makeup. Over time, these toxins build up in the body creating a what is called body burden. This burden can trigger all manner of symptoms.

 

To reduce this burden I have made it my mission to find only the most clean and nontoxic products available. I use hair color lines that are ammonia free, ppd free, and mmd free. All haircare and styling products are sulfate free, silicone free, and nontoxic. I am a scalp health and hair loss specialist. Upon analyzing your scalp I will help you create a customized haircare routine for your unique needs.

 

My services focus on creating custom looks that best suit your skin tone, face shape and lifestyle. I specialize in a variety of color techniques including balayage, foilage, color melting, low lighting, lived-in color, as well as precision cuts for any texture. Curly girls welcome!

 

I am also a functional medicine certified health coach. Healthy hair and skin depends on both what we put on our bodies as well as what we put into our bodies. Nutrition, stress, gut health, hormones and lifestyle all effect our health and our hair. It is my goal to help you feel beautiful and vibrant.

 

As each of you is unique, I always seek to customize your service just for you. This means having an in-depth consultation. Before I can do a chemical process on your hair I must know what I am working with. Your hair history, texture, scalp health, breakage or damage will all be a factor in determining the the path we will take to achieve your hair color goals. Depending on your desired look we may need to employ several techniques and possibly do necessary pre-treatments to prep the hair for safe and healthy processing.
